Kokushibo Sword: design and finishes

The Kokushibo sword embodies power and malevolence. Its blood-red and black blade is adorned with sinister yellow demonic eyes that seem to stare back at you with unspeakable malevolence. The guard, in shades of purple and pink, also has yellow eyes all around. Finally, the pink handle is covered with a green Tsuka-ITO and ends in a purple fuchi. Kokushibo techniques with his Katana Sword

After more than 400 years of training and perfecting his fencing skills, Kokushibo has become one of the most formidable swordsmen of the modern era, but he was no match for his twin brother Yoriichi Tsugikuni during his lifetime.

Kokushibo’s Blood Power enables him to wield sharp blades in the shape of a crescent moon, complementary to his fighting style, Moon Breathing. These blades, created from his own blood and projected by his sword, are unpredictable, constantly changing in size, length and speed. This ability enhances the power of his attacks, making them extremely deadly.

Even without drawing his sword, Kokushibo can manipulate his blades with his Blood Power, making his attacks difficult to counter. What’s more, this power allows him to alter the shape and range of his sword slashes when he uses his Moon Breathing techniques, making his attacks even more formidable and impossible for his opponents to predict.

Who is Kokushibo in Demon Slayer?

Kokushibo, an extremely powerful demon and the strongest of the Twelve Moons, surpassing even Muzan Kibutsuji. He was born human over 500 years ago. He is also Yoriichi’s twin brother and a former demon slayer. He takes on a humanoid appearance with pale skin and a tall, muscular body. He has 3 pairs of eyes with yellow irises and spiky hair with red tips. Finally, he wears a purple and black kimono.

Thanks to his awakened mark of demon slayer, Kokushibo surpasses human limits, and his abilities are further amplified as a demon. Endowed with the vision of the “Transparent World”, he can anticipate his opponents’ movements with remarkable precision.

Kokushibo can manipulate his flesh to create indestructible weapons, such as his katana sword, and even regenerate detached body parts.
