Black and Red Katana: design and finishes

This red and black katana, meticulously crafted by our master swordsmiths, offers a stunning aesthetic. The red T10 steel blade, with bohi, has a rich hue harmoniously enhanced by its meticulously engraved and hollowed iron guard. The Tsuka, clad in PU red samegawa, is wrapped in braided black Tsuka-ITO, and terminates at the bottom in a black metal pommel, adorned with a flower symbol.

The gilded brass Habaki completes the design, adding a sumptuous glow to the junction between blade and Tsuka. While under the guard, details are finely engraved under the fuchi.

The Saya or scabbard, made of wood, fuses black and red harmoniously, bringing a timeless elegance to the katana.

With a total length of 102 cm, this black and red katana offers the perfect balance for cutting. Every element, from the shades of red and black to the engraved motifs, converges to create a masterpiece that is as decorative as it is functional.
