Black Katana: Design and finishes

The 1045 steel blade of this black katana is available sharpened or unsharpened. The wave-shaped hamon stands out thanks to the black blade. The wooden scabbard is covered with braided black PU leather, as is the handle for a top-of-the-range black katana sword.

Flowers are carved on the round iron guard, a deep black color enhanced by the gilded brass habaki. The 72 cm blade, 0.7 cm thick and 3.2 cm wide, makes this katana sword easy to handle. With a total length of 102 cm including scabbard, this katana weighs around 1.4 kg.
