Mitsuri’s Sword: Design and finishes

The katana sword features a tapered blade, with a four-leaf clover guard whose petals are pink hearts. The handle features a light-blue tsuka-ito, contrasting with the pink or red blade. The detailed engravings on the guard bear the inscription “demon destroyer”. Every element of the design is carefully reproduced to capture the distinctive aesthetic of Mitsuri’s weapon, with particular attention to details such as the shape of the guard, patterns, engravings and impeccable finishes.

Mitsuri Kanroji’s katana sword in Demon Slayer

Unlike most Demon Slayers who use standard katana swords, Mitsuri wields an extremely fine, flexible and long sword. This katana sword was made by Tecchin Tecchikawahara, its shape requiring great expertise.

Her katana sword is pink in color and its handle is shaped like a four-leaf clover; the leaves have a pink heart with a golden border, and the words Destroyer of Demons are engraved on the side. In addition to her special katana, Mitsuri wears a sword scabbard of standard size and shape.

She uses the Breath of Love (Koi no Kokyû), a style developed from the Breath of Flame, characterized by fast, powerful movements. Mitsuri has fought Hantengu’s hate clone, Zohakuten, using her katana sword to slice him and protect the villagers of the Blacksmith Village.

Mitsuri is a Pillar of Love, an emotional, passionate woman with curves, pale pink hair and fair skin. She’s shy and gentle, but shows no mercy towards demons.

As a Pillar of Love, Mitsuri is one of the most powerful swordswomen in the Demon Slayer army. Her abilities include strength, stamina, precision and power, all of which were greatly enhanced when she obtained her Demon Slayer mark. She possesses incredible flexibility, strength enhanced since the age of one, immense endurance and stamina, speed and reflexes, as well as a unique constitution with a muscle density eight times that of an ordinary human. She has developed her own style of Breathing, the Breath of Love, based on “love”.
