Its Japanese name, 雪走, literally translates as “Snow Run“. This exceptional weapon is one of fifty top-quality blades, classified in the Ryo Wazamono category. Yubashiri was originally owned by Ippon Matsu, before falling into the hands of the redoubtable Zoro Roronoa, a member of the Straw Hat Pirates.

History and Role of Yubashiri sword in the Series

Yubashiri sword, with its sober but striking appearance, is black with a yellow dot on the handle. Yubashiri’s blade is standard, but its lightness and strength make it a katana sword of the highest quality. Zoro immediately recognized its value, praising its ease of use and perfect balance.
