Purple Katana: Design and finishes

The blade of this purple katana is made of T10 steel, and you can opt for a sharpened or not sharpened edge. The purple color of the blade is highlighted by a discreet bo-hi. The black wooden scabbard, painted with flower mandalas, is accompanied by a thin black sageo with white lines.

The hardwood handle is first covered with black PU samegawa, then the diamond-shaped weave of the black and white tsuka-ito clasps a gold menuki. The brass habaki protrudes from a gold and black chrysanthemum-shaped round guard.

With precise dimensions, an overall length of 102 cm and a weight of 1.4 kg, this purple katana combines functionality and design.
