Hageshī Ha Katana Sword: design and finishes
The Hageshī Ha katana sword (激しい刃) meaning Fierce Blade owes its name to its T10 steel blade, with its authentic hamon and lacquered wooden scabbard, adorned with wild panther motifs. The gold- and silver-plated cruciform guard is beautifully carved with dozens of chrysanthemums, symbols of longevity in Japan. The refined details of the tsuka, covered with real white ray skin and orange-beige braided Ito, complete this unique piece. The silver menuki, brass habaki, fuchi and kashira adorned with silver and gold flowers add the finishing touch.
